A member asked:

I have the flu and my nose is stuffed but it's dry the mucus is in my throat and i can't get it out will a nebulizer help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: A nebulizer is to get medicine into your lungs. It is used for patients that have asthma, COPD, and reactive airways disease due to other conditions. It is not helpful for stuffy nose or mucous in your throat. It also should only be used by the patient it is prescribed for.
