Since sunday i woke up with sore throat and thick mucus, to day i can hardly get out off bed for work as i can't walk and aching is this flu ?

Possible flu: any fevers? If so then sounds like flu like symptoms. Did you get flu shot? While efficacy of flu shot was poor this year it is still effective in attenuating symptoms. Have you had any sick contacts? If you do get tested and are positive and if you are at high risk for serious complications then tamiflu (oseltamivir) might be still possible but if you are not in a high risk group then may not help much.
