Can vary: There are many variables that control the answer to the question. The active ingredient of weed is lipophilic, meaning it attaches to fat tissue and can stay in the system for a while. It would stay longer in a large person and less so in a thin person. Also if you have been smoking large amounts for a long time there would be more build-up. 1-2 weeks in urine, longer in the hair.
