Stress: Hair loss can be due several things, including but not limited to anxiety/stress, thyroid disorders, certain scalp/skin conditions, etc. Having a baby certainly can be stressful. See your dr. about your hair loss for an evaluation. Good luck.

Hormonal: This is normal after giving birth, so don't worry! During pregnancy your hair goes into what is known as a "resting phase", where you shed LESS hair than usual - women usually notice they have more/thicker hair during the 2nd and 3rd trimester), but after childbirth your hair enters a "SHEDDING phase" and hair can come out by the handfull! Usually by 6 months post partum your hair should be normal
