Rest assured- no: It is painful but will resolve. Tail bone do not have any nerve involvement. Sietz bath, NSAID, Donut cushion will reduce your misery.

ER: If you are in severe pain after a fall/trauma to your lower spine-Tail bone, then by all means go to the ED. There is always the chance you fractured your tail bone. If truly fractured or simply severely bruised/inflamed, it is doubtful any paralysis now or in the future would result. Best wishes.
