See a urologist: Need to find out if there is a urinaTy tract infection as well, stop using steroid cream as a first step. If uncircumcised, there may be a cellulitis which will require oral or intravenous antibiotics. Before new therapy is undertaken, this needs a trained eye to decide next steps, namely a pediatric-friendly urologist

Wrong tt: Try simple antibiotic ointment. Stop steroid. Better get a culture/smear to be sure about the organism.
