A member asked:

If someone's bp is usually 90/60, will a rise to 120/80 or 130/90 hurt him/cause symptoms, or is bp only considered in absolute not relative terms?

Good Question: You get extra credit for 90/60, but it doesn't hurt you to rise up to 120/80 or 130/90. These should be monitored though for even higher readings. Low numbers are only a problem if they are associated with lightheadedness. To answer the question you actually asked, as a general rule, blood pressure is more absolute than relative.
