Is dissecting folliculitis curable? (my dermatologist says no.) btw, he always says "folliculitis" rather than "cellulitis."

Hair versus skin: Folliculitis is distinctly different from cellulitis. The first is an infection or inflammation of the hair follicle versus the skin. While folliculitis may develop into cellulitis, it is distinctly different.
