Infection: See a dentist ASAP. You describe an infection. It will not heal without treatment. Even though you do not have much pain, it is important to see a dentist and get this treated. Don't put this off.

May be mucocoel: There are hundreds of mucous glands that empty into the mouth along the linings of oral tissue.The mechanical action of eating sometimes crushes the tunnel they empty into & a small backup of mucous can form a mucocoel.If this is not tender now, it may be benign & self heal.If it is tender it may be inflamed and worthy of a visit to the doc/dentist.
