i keep having these terrible pains the n my right side ribs. i have had this problem before. comes and goes but this time it has stayed for 3 days ?

Possibility...: It sounds like musculoskeletal pain of your chest wall. It could be costochondritis, which is inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs. It can be very painful. See your doctor for diagnosis/treatment. Anti inflammatory meds along with heat therapy to the area can be helpful before you see your doc. If you press on the area and the pain worsens, this is the likely diagnosis.

If it is recurrent, it could be a connective tissue disorder with recurrent dislocations as is sometimes seen in EDS. Check for other evidence of hypermobility.
