What do i need to consider when i do my thyroid tests?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroid tests: If you have no symptoms or clinical findings of a thyroid problem there is probably no need for thyroid testing. If your doctor thinks your thyroid level is low, take the blood test and you will have the result in a day or two. If he/she thinks the thyroid is over-active you should have the lab tests and an imaging study of your thyroid. Please let me know what is found.
