Depends: Is he struggling to breathe? Is he vomiting? Is he having difficulty feeding or drinking fluids? Does he have a high fever? These may be reasons to go to the ED. Otherwise, I would focus on helping pt feel better. Bulb suction the nose if there are lots of nasal drainage. Elevate the head of the bed when the child is sleeping. Offer lots of PO fluids. I think pt is too yBenadryl
