Hormones may help...: ...but NSAIDs have modulatory effects on female hormones & are cheaper & easier to try. I mean round-the-clock NSAID during the premenstrual week, through the period & then tapering over 3-4 d. If that doesn't work or works incompletely, then yes, hormones can help, BUT you definitely need specialist guidance on the NSAIDs &/or which hormones and their dosing & timing.

Unlikely: These are menstrual migraines. The treatment can be varied and you may have tried most of them already. suggest that you try triptans that are frequently quite good with migraine type headaches that come on with menstration. SEE a neurologist or your doctor to get specific treatment. Best wishes
