Less than 8 oz: The American Academy of Pediatrics recently announced a guideline that limits the amount of fruit juice given to children to 8 ounces or less a day. They recommend water to hydrate them in addition to the 16-24 ounces of milk a day. The reason: to prevent a habit that can lead to obesity, and reduce the risk of dental cavities.

Doesn't need any: I personally never recommend any juices for routine use in kids. By definition it is a processed food. It promotes the sweetness that can pre-program baby to be a sweet craver for life and maybe battle their weight as an adult.Apple sauce/peach slices/crushed grapes all can be part of their diet.I just don't recommend juices.
