Tests don't diagnose: Psych tests do not diagnose anything. The results are helpful in sunstantiating a mental disorder or identifying the possibilty of one.A a thoeough clinical interview and collateral info from family are very useful in making the dianosis. Some objective personality tests (eg, mmpi, pai, etc) can aid in making the dx.
