Possible pregnancy: You don't say how far apart the tests and what type of test was done (urine or blood), so I will assume that a home pregnancy test was done a few weeks apart. Although urine pregnancy tests are fairly sensitive, a rare patient my have negative urine test and still be pregnant. See your physician and request a blood test. All the best.

Late period: It is not uncommon for women to have a missed period once in a while. As long as your pregnancy test is negative, you should just wait a bit. If you miss more than two periods in a row you should see your gynecologist. Take care!

Missed period: The number one cause of missing a period is pregnancy, but with that ruled out, other causes can be an anovulatory cycle (you simply do not release an egg), thyroid conditions, anxiety/stress, rapid weight losses, etc. If you miss another, than seek medical attention for the cause.
