Kidney infection: If you have not had an ultrasound or CT scan, now is the time. Possibilities are-- cyst or cysts that are infected and bleeding, abscess, stone or calcinosis, unresolved pyelonephritis, papillary necrosis or infarction, or invasive cystitis. Imaging is essential. Longer course of antibiotics may be right now too. Discuss w doc and make sure bacteria are cultured and known to be sensitive to abx
