Good question: As i tell my patients, "if you are having a problem with your periods, let's investigate." whether you do don't have fibroids isn't my main concern. Rather i would want to investigate several issues and then present you with several options. Fibroids certainly could be the issue.

Yes: Your symptoms can be caused be fibroids. A physical exam and ultrasound would be the start of a good workup.
