Will my irregularity give me difficulties in conceiving?

Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Irregular menses: Menstrual irregularities suggest ovulatory issues which may make it difficult to conceive. Certainly, menstrual irregularities would make it difficult to determine ovulation & thus best timing for intercourse. Of greater concern is your interest in conceiving at 49yo when average age of menopause is early 50s. Best to see Reproductive Endocrinologist now rather than waiting typical 12mo prior.
