Why am i still in pain after being in the hospital with diverticulitis, perforation and a severe infection?

You haven't provided: a time line as to how long you have been out of the hospital, how long the antibiotic were given and whether you were told to stay on a low fiber diet. Answers to all of this can impact the explanation, but it can take up to 6 weeks with proper treatment for this to heal. If you are having fever as well you need to return to your doctor or hospital for re evaluation promptly
