Inadequate blood flo: In septic shock, the event triggers a profound change in blood distribution. Blood pressure drops.Blood is no longer able to circulate and bathe the cells in nutrients or oxygen in adequate amounts to keep them functioning.Kidneys,heart,brain all begin shutting down as their fuel supply declines. At some point, the heart will fail to maintain a proper rhythm and quit.
