Septic shock: The symptoms of septic shock can vary to the individual prior to coming to medical attention, but may involve fever, lethargy, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, headache and weakness, amongst others. Clinical signs may include elevated heart rate, low blood pressure, rapid breathing, decreases urine output, low oxygen saturations, altered mental status, and acid build up in blood stream, to name a few.
