Dr. Bernard Seif answered

Specializes in Clinical Psychology

Tourette Syndrome: is a neurological condition wherein a person "tics", that is he/she may make jerking head or shoulder moves, make sounds, or call out words involuntarily. OCD obsessive compulsive disorder includes thoughts and behaviors that are unwanted but help the person feel he/she is warding off impending danger. The two can occur at the same time. A specialist in Tourette's is a good doc to see. Peace.
