Not much: Hypoplasia means less than normal number of cells. It appears, it is from a sample of bone marrow where the myeloid cells(premature white cells) reside but their existence is patchy. So it is not a very exact science when you assess the numbers from a bone marrow. When the word 'mild' is used in medical reports, it usually means, the reporting person is not so sure , so they use terms like this
