Dupuytrens can: have lumps on the palm with swollen knuckles that get stiff, the lumps and swollen knuckles often involve the skin too in one continuous mass of tissue. Inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis or gout can also be associated wot bumps and swollen joints. Rheum arthitis feels soft and "boggy" while gouty noodles or so called tophi are hard
