Depends: In an average person taking a mixed diet no vitamin deficiencies are expected. The common vitamin deficiency in the US is vitamin D insufficiency. Alcoholics usually have vitamin B deficiency, especially thiamine. Many food stuffs in the US have vitamin added, e.g. with folic acid. Vegans are at of risk of B12 and vitamin D deficiency. A person not taking any fruits or vegs could lack vitamin C
