Yes: Barrett's Esophagus can be accompanied by inflammation or ulceration of the esophagus.Pain can be in chest, upper abdomen & back.Also,purging (self-induced vomiting) can tighten chest muscles causing dresulting in rib dysfunction.When ribs then fail to move properly w/ respiration, upper back pain is common.If esophagitis isn't the cause, I recommend an osteopathic hands-on exam to check/fix ribs.
