If TSH, FT4 and FT3 and PTH were tested and all came back normal but "FT3" Only was abnormal/high, what would be the likely causes? And what's the next step after this blood work result?
Normal TSH, high free T4 mild elevation , what might be the cause ?
On Thyroid medication for years. Last 3 test 3 months apart Normal TSH ( 1.78, 1.48 , 0.816) But high Free T4 (1.8, 1.87 ,1.84) normal FT4 values 0.8 to 1.77. What could cause high FT4 and could that cause increased palpitations and arrhythmias?
Thyroid ultrasound = no concern ; thy. antibody test showed no autoimmune cause. TSH still high, even on synthroid. FT4 high end of normal. Causes???
Dx hypothyroid in April, been on synthroid (thyroxine) 0.025mg x 3 months, but TSH went higher (~13) w/ normal ft4. Could viorele birth control cause high TSH?
