A member asked:

My mom has vertigo. what medicine can she take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Talk to doctor: A number of medications are used to control vertigo, and some are OTC, such as meclizine and dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) but others such as Valium or Scopolamine patch are prescription only.. Ask her doctor what might next be tried, but also request some physical therapy from a vestibular expert.
