M.D. visit: You should be seen for this problem. The possible causes and conditions include bleeding from your mouth or nose, areas of bronchial irritation which do not appear abnormal on CT, a bleeding/.clotting problem. If you are exposed to smoke, I would urge you to avoid smoke. If your doctor can not see you in the office, I would advise checking with your Emergency Department.
