A member asked:

Is ulcerative colitis linked to the mmr vaccine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doubtful: Patients with inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's and ulcerative colitis which has already been diagnosed are at high risk for complications from vaccine preventable diseases and should be fully vaccinated. Special schedules for live vaccine administration are followed for those on immunosuppressive therapy. It is not been proven that vaccines CAUSE inflammatory bowel diseases.
