A member asked:

Is there a difference in the trendelenburg and standing blood pressure measurements?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bp position: When standing the blood from the lower half of the body has to travel uphill to get to the heart and BP is often lowered. Trendelenburg position is head down and lower half elevated, this increases blood return to the heart and bp is augmented compared to the standing position.
