Most aren't: If staffed by anesthiologist and/or other pain specialists who are board certified and affiliated with a local hospital and clinic, the answer is yes! if the clinic is advertising on tv and is staffed by gps, pas, and nps, no! all you need to express is your desire for a non-narcotic solution. These clinics usually require a referral with a discrete dx, not just "pain" diagnosis is first!

Yes: Legitimate pain management facilities use mutiple modalities to treat pain. Medication alone is unlikely to ever resolve the issue. If all you are offered is medication...Run...Don't walk to another doctor.
