Several things.: Ovaries might be naturally large, or they might be enlarged because of like ovarian cysts, or conditions like polycystic ovaries. Cancer should be ruled out, especially in older patients with pain, bloating, and weight gain. It can also be appendicitis if right sided, lower abdominal pain, with fever and high white count. If this is the case, a visit to your doctor, or hospital is imperative.
