Yes: and most people with exposure to second-hand smoke do not get serious damage. It is people who work in bars, restaurants and other settings where you are exposed to high volumes of smoke at greatest risk, but some people with asthma, allergies and sinus problems also can be harmed. Depending on how much damage has been done, most will heal when you stop getting exposed to the smoke.
