It is never wise to: Take medication for something you do not have. Medication for ADHD is powerful and could hurt you.

Bad idea: Most of these meds are considered drugs of high abuse potential & closely monitored by the feds. Possession without a valid prescription can land you in jail. Any doc who prescribes them for you without exam & charted documentation of need could loose their license. Many have the same effects/side effects on normal people as amphetamines, so consider the risks and understand how they could apply
