Can you do mixed martial arts if you have had a trans ischemic stroke?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes & no: Sometimes injury to the arteries of the neck causes stroke symptoms. If this is the cause of the TIA, I think it is best to avoid fighting. Can't say that any fighting sports are good for the brain, whether there has been a TIA or not. The conditioning used for MMA is good for the brain though. Is there a way to do this sport without contact? Just a thought.
