If the question is about metronidazole, taking it after the expiration date can’t be advised. Some medications may be taken beyond the date on the bottle, but it depends on whether the drug was specifically studied for an extended date, how long out of date it is, and whether it was stored in ideal conditions, among other things. Also, is a doctor supervising your use of this antimicrobial?
