What's the worst health effect of having chicken pox?

Varies: Most cases result in no real problems and they self recover.Before the vaccine was in wide use, we had more than 2 million cases/yr in the US with 50 deaths and 10,000 hospitalizations.One has increased risk of invasive bacterial disease during the illness.Today there are lower numbers but the risks remain.
