What is baclofen used for?

Spasticity: Typically used for the increase in muscle tone associated with stroke, spinal cord or brain injury, multiple sclerosis, but may have some benefit in controlling the intense facial pain of trigeminal neuralgia.

Baclofen: Baclofen (Lioresal & Glablofen) is a muscle relaxant that is used to treat muscle spasm. It had been used off label to reduce alcohol cravings & to reduce high anxiety levels.
