Injury prevention: Like other athletes, dancers are advised to pursue back strengthening (of the extensors and paraspinals), and deep stretches such as those found in YIN YOGA. Elite athletes are also using such for injury prevention! Symptomatic address of lower back pain includes also NSAIDs if tolerated, heat, massage, etc.
