Visual, sensorimotor: The top presenting symptoms of MS are loss of vision in one eye, double vision, sensorimotor changes and ataxia. Symptoms usually come on over several days and last several weeks.

Can vary: If one possesses relapsing-remitting ms, the typical presentation involves rather rapid optic neuritis, or gait imbalance/incoordination, or perhaps leg weakness or sensory loss, which may or may not resolve without treatment. But the primary progressive patient may indeed have slow deterioration with additional problems and no remission. On occasion, fatigue and intellectual losses may be early.
