I'm concerned.: The first period after childbirth can sometimes be very heavy. I'm concerned that the combination of pregnancy, childbirth and heavy menstrual bleeding could make you anemic. See your Gyno ASAP. In addition to other evaluation, they need to check your blood count. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids and stay seated or lying down if you feel lightheaded. Be very careful about carrying your baby.
