Spiral: It seems to me you are seeing spinning objects in the corner of your vision and not that you are spinning. Visual flashes can be associated with vitreal floaters, but these are usually dark. If they are light and like lightning bolts that is usually a retinla issue. Probably worth having a visit with and eye doctor.
