Flecanide monitoring: Maybe your doctor is evaluating your echo to rule out cardiomyopathy, a condition of weak heart that makes the use of Flecanide less favorable. Simple EKG is not very helpful to evaluate side effects of a drug, but stress EKG is more inormative.
