Sitz baths: Try sitting in hot water in your tub (not "burning!!") Do that PLUS the cream for ten days to two weeks. If lump persists see your doctor. BTW If this happens again(with PAIN) see your doctor RIGHT AWAY since sometime a clot may be present in the vein and it can be removed by a Proctologist (GI Surgeon) giving immediate relief Hope this is helpful Dr Z

Why?: Why do you think you have hemorrhoids? They usually present with painful defecation and streaks of blood in your stool. Sometimes more aggressive treatment is needed aside from cream.
