A member asked:

Can through any ordinary urine or blood test be it confirmed/known if someone is taking telmisartin or any other blood pressure drug to control bp?

Blood test: There is no simple blood test to determine if a patient is taking any medicine for blood pressure. Usually I can tell if a patient is taking their medicine because they are requesting refills at the appropriate time. For example if you are given thirty pills, but don't need a refill for 90 days, well then you likely have missed some doses.
