Yes...: A headache is a very common complaint with fevers; however, there can be other causes also (sinus pressure, strep throat, etc). A visit to the pediatrician will help clear up whether the fever is related to a viral illness or a bacterial illness (which would need antibiotics). This visit may just end up confirming that you are doing everything right - but after 4 days an exam is warranted!

Yes: Age 7 kids with a fever and headache might just have a viral cephalgia (inflammation of the tissues around the brain or spinal cord), or even a ear infection, but the only way to be safe would be to see your practitioner.
