Croup: I don't think the voice lost came as an effect of oregano. Croup is very common in this part of the year and it is usually due to swollen vocal cords as a result of a virus infection.takes about 7 days to resolve. Beyond 7 days--- still symptomatic--- increased chance of bacterial second infection. See MD
