My daughter is 4 and on bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and has a rash all over. she slept until 10:40am and was asleep again by 5pm. should i take her to the er?

Depends: I would always error on the side of caution with someone at this age. You know her better than any of us, if she is not acting within her norm, I do not want to give you a false sense of confidence. Have her quickly evaluated by an emergency physician and have comfort in having a physician tell you everything is okay, it is not worth taking any chances with you children. Best of luck to you!
